The Fibonacci sequence is a set of numbers where each number is the sum of the two numbers before it. Starting with 0 and 1, you add them together to create 1, then you add the 1 and 1 to make 2, and so on. This lesson is intentionally left open-ended so that once the spiral has been created, it can be used in any way, shape, or form. Kufic script is believed to have been developed around the end of the 7th century in Kufa, Iraq, and is the artistic practice of hand lettering (calligraphy) utilizing the Arabic alphabet.
