I created Masterpiece Society because I wanted homeschool families to have the kind of art education I couldn't find for my own children—beautiful, engaging, skill-building lessons that didn't require Mom to be the art teacher.
I've spent over a decade designing and refining an art curriculum approachable enough for everyday homeschool families, and joyful enough that children actually look forward to doing it. Because I believe creativity isn't an “extra.” It's an important part of a rich and beautiful education.

Our step-by-step video instruction allows your children to learn directly from an experienced artist while you provide encouragement, supplies, and a place to create.
And, of course, you're always welcome to pull up a chair and create alongside them.
Are the online art classes self-paced?
Yes. Masterpiece Society's online art lessons allow your family to work at your own pace, making it easy to fit art into your homeschool schedule.
Pause when you need more time, come back another day, or spend an entire afternoon creating. That's one of the beauties of learning art at home.
What art supplies will we need?
Supplies vary from course to course, but you'll find clear supply lists so you know exactly what you'll need before beginning.
Many lessons use familiar art materials such as watercolor, acrylic paint, drawing pencils, pastels, paper, brushes, and mixed-media supplies—and those supplies can be used again and again across many Masterpiece Society courses.
Do you offer high school homeschool art curriculum?
Yes. Our Art School series is specifically designed to provide more in-depth art instruction for middle and high school students.
Students can develop foundational skills through courses such as Drawing 101, Watercolors 101, Acrylics & Oils 101, and Pastels 101 while building confidence and developing their individual artistic style.
Do I have to join the Studio membership?
No. Families can choose the option that works best for them.
