Elf Portrait

Elves were the fairest creatures in Middle Earth, a race far more beautiful than men. They were tall, slender, and graceful, yet strong. They had angular features and Tolkien said their ears “were more pointed and leaf-shaped than human ears.” Elves had keener senses than men and lived for centuries. They had a deep love for nature — particularly the sea and the stars.

In today’s lesson, we paint an Elf in an organic art nouveau-inspired frame.
