Caterpillar

“Who are YOU?” said the Caterpillar.

This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, “I–I hardly know, sir, just at present – at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”

While wandering through the strange world that is Wonderland, Alice meets a blue caterpillar who leaves her with more questions than he answers. Upon his departure, he leaves Alice with a mushroom, one side of which will make her grow tall, while the other side will make her shrink.

In this lesson, we create an art piece inspired by the caterpillar and mushroom.
