Welcome to the Masterpiece Society, the new home for my online art courses and mixed media workshops.
Several years ago, I began creating seasonal mixed media workshops as a fun way for kids and teens to learn about various mediums while exploring their own innate creativity. But quite frankly, these workshops took over my blog. And now I’ve had such an overwhelming response to my newest series, Mixing with the Masters, Volume One, that I decided these courses needed a place to call their own. 😉
And not only will my art courses live here, I will also have lots of fun, informative posts on art elements and techniques, inspiring your child or teen’s creativity, free Art Appreciation and Artist Study downloadable content, and my favorite part, a weekly Art Challenge for kids and teens.
If your kids and/or teens enjoy creating on their own — whether it be drawing, painting, manga, crafting, etc., or if they need a little push or a bit of inspiration, then I encourage you to sign them up for the weekly art challenge. This will simply be a fun community in which to share art centered around a variety of themes.
