Paul Klee was an artist during the Cubist movement Paul Klee was an artist during the Cubist movement, pioneered by artists such as Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Inspired by their styles, Klee began to experiment with geometric forms, fragmented compositions, and multiple perspectives in his artwork.

What sets Klee apart from other Cubist artists is his distinctive approach to color and form. While Cubism typically emphasizes monochromatic tones and angular shapes, Klee infused his paintings with vibrant hues and organic, flowing lines. This playful contrast of geometric and organic elements creates a dynamic pieces that invite viewers to explore the relationship between form and expression.

In this Selfie Portraits lesson, we paint our own self portraits in the Cubist style like Paul Klee.
