Looking for beautiful and cost affordable art supplies? Look no further than Ohuhu Markers—the perfect art medium for the whole family!

As a homeschool art teacher, I’m always out testing new art supplies—both for my own projects and in the classroom! I need materials that are accessible and versatile, and can help budding artists feel confident in their creativity. Recently, I had the chance to partner with Ohuhu, and I was excited to try out several of their different marker sets: Acrylic Paint Markers, Alcohol Markers, and the Kainani Washable Stamp Markers.
After a few weeks trying them out in my class session and personal art projects, I can confidently say that the Ohuhu markers have become my new favorites! Here’s what I love about each set and why I recommend them to homeschool families and art educators.
Ohuhu Acrylic Paint Markers

The Acrylic Paint Markers were the first set I tried, and I loved them immediately. These paint markers come in vibrant colors that apply smoothly and consistently on a variety of surfaces. Whether working on paper, canvas, or layered acrylic paint, the colors stay bright.
In our art studio, we have been creating a new course based on abstract artwork, and these markers have been my go-to! The paint flows beautifully and I love how well they layer and blend, making them ideal for both beginner doodles and more detailed illustrations.
I was also able to try the various marker tip styles and sizes, including the brush, fine, and dot tips. While they all have their creative uses, my favorites were easily the dot tops, which are perfect for making bold, playful marks and dot patterns for expressive artwork. The fine tip is also great for outlining, while the brush tip creates nice sweeping strokes of color.
Ohuhu Alcohol Markers

Next up were the Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. These dual-tip markers feature both a brush and chisel tip, offering a wide range of stroke and design options. The ink is smooth, quick-drying, and blendable, making them a dream for coloring, shading, and layering.
These markers feel very high-end while still coming at an affordable price. For homeschool families looking for professional quality art supplies without breaking the bank, this set is a great entry point! They’re not for younger kids since the alcohol-based ink can stain and bleed through thin paper, but they’re perfect for teens and advanced learners.
Kainani Washable Stamp Markers

For your youngest artists, the Kainani Washable Stamp Markers are the perfect option! These markers are designed with toddlers in mind and come in a wide grip that is easy for little hands to hold and control. Each marker has a bold, bright color and a second stamp-tip, making them a great option for decoration and exploring patterns. I also appreciate that these are completely washable—definitely a must in any art supply aimed for kids!

More LOVE for the Acrylic Markers!
I must say that even before I got to try these, my mom (Alisha) had already created several projects with the Acrylic Paint Markers. She used them to create garden markers & an art quote for Five Days of The Secret Garden over on our Awaken to Delight website.

And she used them to create a Diptych art project and Heraldry Bunting handicraft for our Medieval History curriculum as well:

Whether you’re teaching art at home, crafting with your kids, or creating your own artwork, Ohuhu has a marker set for every age and skill level. I’ve used plenty of markers over the years, but Ohuhu have become my new go-to, and one I will be purchasing over and over again!
