In this first episode of the Masterpiece Makers, Olivia and I will introduce ourselves and let you know what you can expect from each episode.
The purpose of this podcast is not to replace an in depth study of Art History. But rather to whet your kids’ and teens’ appetites, and give them just enough insight into the eras, the artists’ lives, and their main works of art, to make them want even more.
Because honestly, a podcast could never do justice to something so visual as art. So, for this reason we’re going to provide you with links to the artwork in our show notes.
And I’ll give you a chance to pause each episode, and click over to our website, so that your kids and teens will be able to view the art as we discuss it. And also, we’ll have links and free downloads for further study on each artist or era.
