Description
Deep in the densely forested mountains of Romania lies the inspiration for our Monsterpiece Society: a one-of-a-kind monster homeschool art course for kids and teens!
Once upon a time, an old Gothic castle—once owned by an eccentric count—was rediscovered after being boarded up for more than a century. When historians and archaeologists began to restore it, they unearthed a rare and mysterious collection of monster art unlike anything the world had ever seen.
And now, it’s your turn to uncover the creativity within! In this homeschool monster art workshop, your students will explore imagination, humor, and spooky fun through easy step-by-step acrylic painting lessons designed for elementary through high school. Perfect for homeschool art for Halloween or anytime you want to add some lighthearted monster magic to your homeschool days.
Meet the “monsterpieces” you’ll create together in this quirky and colorful monster paintings for kids course:
-
Bona Lisa – Considered an archetypal monsterpiece of the Transylvanian Renaissance, her expression is difficult to read—especially since she has no lips!
-
The Howl – A haunting werewolf masterpiece capturing the wild beauty of the night.
-
Boo Boy – A charming portrait of a ghostly young lad in his bright blue suit.
-
The Legend of Sleepy Kahlo – A creative self-portrait complete with a spiderweb necklace and bat companion.
-
Ghoul with a Pearl Earring – A spooky reimagining of a timeless classic, featuring a ghoulish girl and her still-pristine pearl earring.
With its clever humor and imaginative approach, Monsterpiece Society invites homeschoolers to experiment with color, texture, and expression while discovering that art doesn’t always have to be serious—it can be spooktacularly fun!
