Q: How does one participate in your art courses?
A: Each art course is either a 2-, 4-, or 6-week e-Course which is taught via videos in a private, password-protected site. Your child may watch and create on his or her own schedule.
Q: How can I purchase an art course?
A: Purchases can be made via PayPal by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button anywhere on the course page.
Q: What happens after I purchase an art course?
A: After your secure purchase, you will receive a receipt from PayPal. Then, within 24 hours of your purchase, you will receive a welcome email with the course supply list. You will also receive another email containing the link to the classroom and your password. Please save this email.
Q: How long will I have access to this course?
A: You will have lifetime access to this course.
Q: What art supplies will you use for this course?
A: Please click here to see a list of the basic art supplies for the seasonal art courses, or click here to see a list of basic supplies for the Mixing with the Masters course.
Q: Are these courses only for homeschooling families?
A: Although we are a homeschooling family, this course was created and intended for all children — public, private and home schooled — ages 8 and up.
Q: My child is not yet 8 years old. Will he be able to participate?
A: Only you know the abilities of your own child, but most of the projects for my seasonal courses are basic and could be done by children a bit younger than 8 (with your help and supervision).
PLEASE NOTE: In the Mixing with Masters courses, quite a few projects are more advanced and may frustrate younger children. I will provide templates for many of the projects, but some will require the child to draw/paint/letter on his own and may, therefore, be a little more difficult. Please use your own discretion when purchasing.
Q: What if I can’t keep up with the pace of the class?
A: You may participate in this class on your own time and at your own pace. You are never behind.
Q: Can others outside my immediate family participate in one of your art courses?
A: I would love for you and your children to enjoy this course, but please do not share your personal link and password with anyone else outside of your immediate family. I have put a lot of planning and work into creating this course. I trust you will understand and honor this request.
Q: Do you offer Homeschool Co-op Licensing?
A: Yes. You can purchase a co-op license by contacting me at: alishagratehouse [at] gmail [dot] com. The price is $150 (2.5 times the retail price) and it may be used for up to 25 students. If you have 25 students in your class, each student is only paying $6.00 instead of the $60.00 they would if they each bought their own course. If your classroom or large co-op has more than 25 students, you’ll need to purchase a second license, which is good for another 25 students.
Q: I am a blogger; can I join your Affiliate program?
A: Yes, I would love for you to join my Affiliate Program here.
